The End of the line

Hi,

As of 3/1/12, I will begin the process of shutting down this website. I would ask you to migrate over to the Facebook Page, www.facebook.com/OxbridgeCascades, which will become the primary center for information about Oxbridge events in the PNW and BC. There is a separate Linked In Page which will be available later in Spring 2012.

SOCS Kick off meeting, 2/17/12

41 people attended the kick off meeting held at the Columbia Tower Club. Tony Knox (Vancouver Oxford Cambridge Society) and Chris Gondek (Oxford Cambridge Society of Oregon) spoke on the history of their respective organizations. Then, around the room, each attendee stood up, introduced themselves and offered any connections they may have to local organizations that might be helpful to the group going forward (e.g. SAM, the symphony, possible meeting space where they work).
